1 Appellant, Charles L. Lauhoff, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged, tried and convicted in the District Court of Woodward County, Case No. C-72-35, for the crime of Defrauding an Innkeeper. He was sentenced to serve a term of eighteen (18) months in the state penitentiary in accordance with the verdict of the jury, and a timely appeal has been perfected to this Court.
